Ok.i really need help.please answer.?

ok well.i get braces july 25 but the 18th i go get molds and stuff.i've already had a consultation where they looked at my teeth and told me how much it will cost.what all will they do on the 18th.does everybody get spacers.do they hurt.do you think they will put them in the day i go to get molds.
