Maybe the Superdelegates are a good idea. Time to think outside the box?

The superdelegates were put into place aftert the 1976 primaries, when all those annoying little people selected Carter to be their candidate. The Democratic Party mechnaism put them in place to stop that from ever happening again. I'll bet, though, the superdelegates lack the spine to do what you suggest.
