I think you got in just because the VIP and it was your friend boss's party and at most places here if your entry is already paid for by the party host they don't ask for I.D. What you could of done is flirted with the bouncers and got to know them a little bit and that would of been guaranteed entry the next time because their the ones that check your I.D to let you in.
