Should we have playoffs in College Football?

No doubt about it. If high school kids, Division II and Division III can do it, Division I can do it. So it is about freakin' time. The college presidents need to REALIZE that NO one cares about the old bowl system. There would be way more money earned in a playoff format to pay their panzy *** 7 figure salaries. (over 100,000 fans do not pack the Shoe to watch med students fill up test tubes) You could take the conference champions from the smaller leagues and the the top two from the larger leagues. Using current conferences, you would have 16 teams right there. If any team was considered number 17 - 20, they would have no argument, because they finished 3rd in their league. This "no playoff" in Division I is the most IDIOTIC situation in any sports on any level. The sad thing is that the 3% of people who control this (i.e. Conference commissioners, College Presidents) don't want this, but the 97% (i.e. coaches, players, fans, etc.) want it and DESERVE this. How great would it be to see the "pretty boys" from the West Coast or the SEC boys "where men are men and sheep are nervous" playing in Happy Valley or The Shoe in late December with some good 'ole snow and cold weather. I bet that " TOTAL MEDIA MISCONCEPTION of team speed would finally be debunked. Way overdue and tired of talking about it for the last decade.
