Is it possible for a 17mm follicle (only one dominant) to disappear and not ovulate at all?

Hi. I have not ovulated in the last 6months. I was on clomid 50mg days 5-9 and now is CD 14. On CD 13, my u/s showed one 17mm follicle. My doc has called me in again tomorrow. I am extremely nervous. What's your experience? Do yo think I will finally ovulate and when? Please Please answer!
